Reflections

Reflecting on research paper, I feel like I could have organized my paper better. I had great ideas but I feel like I should've made it flow more better. Overall, I enjoyed writing this research paper because it was on my major. I feel like this was really helpful because it made me go in depth of how the prison management works. What really helped was my Introduction to Corrections class because it gave me ideas of what to write about and what to go into more detail with. I had great points that I talk about in my paper but I feel like I should have a better research question but in the same field of criminal justice. For my Synthesis Essay, I feel like I could have organized it a little bit much better. I feel like I had made great points but they were scattered around. The way I explained about how jobs are going to be competing in the future was supported by evidence and facts that all authors brought up. I also give advice of how students can begin researching what they want to be when they grow up. Although many feel like getting one major is sufficient, I feel like learning more about another major or minoring in something else is extremely important because you need to have a back up plan. In my closing comments, I would like to mentioned how domestic violence has been around for many decades, but it has not been taken down due to fear. Many women are afraid or feel threatened if they speak up to programs or to police. To me, this is one of the hugest thing why domestic violence is still around, because nobody is speaking up to it. It is also affecting the household like the children. They begin to hide from the adult causing the violence and begin to lose focus of their needs. I was successful at getting all four pictures and analyzing the text and visual. Reflecting on my Design Plan, I succeeded on representing Chicago on my blog and talking about the crime that goes on. Perhaps, I could've explained more in my Logos and ethos section. I tried giving the audience the urge to be concerned about the topic of violence in our communities. I am pretty sure that everyone is concerned on safety of our children and knowing that they can be safe at the park. I hope I was able to persuade my audience with my point and they will actually help out the community. Calling the cops immediately if anything suspicious, making sure our playgrounds of our kids is clean and safe.
